After some tweaking php and apache and informix finally compiles. To get rid of the libtool warning the Makefile in ext/informix needs to be changed. In the line beginning with libphpext_informix_la_LIBADD= -Lext/informix needs to be changed to -L$(srcdir)/ext/informix To make apache compile with the informix libs they have to be added to the apache Makefile also. I changed EXTRA_LIBS in apache as follows EXTRA_LIBS=/opt/informix/lib/esql/checkapi.o -L/opt/informix/lib -L/opt/informix/lib/esql -lifsql -lifasf -lifgen -lifos -lifgls Peter > > On Tue, Nov 09, 1999 at 04:28:38PM +0200, Database Administrator wrote: > > Hello, > > > > i just tried php4 b3rc3 on suse linux 6.2. > > During compile there was the following problem: > > > > 1. the gd includes are in /usr/include/gd on Suse 6.2.
