Chris -- Blog: http://blogs.oracle.com/opal Twitter: http://twitter.com/ghrdHackish - if it is undefined wheter pooled PDO connections are cleaned up before reuse or not, I consider it undefined how drivers behave and furthermore, I consider it not as a bug if extensions change their behaviour at any time.a slightly more "reasonable" scenario would be having to set session variables like on oracle: ALTER SESSION SET NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS='. ' ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT='YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS' would be nice to have to set this only once for connections being reused, since often times its hopeless to get the DBA to make such adjustments permanent.
