3/ Hard-code the function at compile time. By default it would use fb_interpret but a user could compile for isc_interprete if required. Although clunky this would at least allow us to remove an attack vector from regular builds while providing some support for interbase users.I think this is the start of the end for the common drivers? PDO_INTERBASE with the old stuff, and PDO_FIREBIRD for the more modern approach? Doesn't the same sort of problem start arising in php_interbase as well nowadays? I've been using the fb_xxx functions for a long time now, would be nice if the help actually routed through to them ... -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://lsces.co.uk/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk// Firebird - http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php
