This might be a "problem" with MySQL's sorting algorithms. Anyway, the
package stats are a big can of worms and touching it definitively isn't
the funniest thing. (In the medium term I'm planning to rewrite the
whole stats stuff, so we shouldn't invest too much time in fixing stuff
there.)
