Hi Pierre,
Sounds great !
I understand that tests and developments of such an extension require access to a Z/OS environment
(extremely specific, but some companies do need it).
Anyhow, I agree with your suggestions:
- Actual french comments were intended for internal use, not for publication. I may take in charge
the translation.
- Correct source headers (according to PHP license) will be added.
- Package XML description will be added.
Maintaining in PECL CVS would be the best actually. Source Forge is only a convenient location to
first release the project.
Concerning registration and CVS request, will I receive an approval from PECL about acceptance of
this IMS extension ?
I won't be available next week, so account requests will take place in march.
Best regards,
David OURY

I cannot test or valid the code (I have no clue about IMS :), but the
code looks good. Some comments:
- Please use english comments only
- Can you use the standard license headers (as you use the php
license)? see other extensions for an example
- Add a package.xml (pear installer support)
Where will you maintain it? In sourceforge or in php.net cvs? I would
suggest to maintain it in our cvs, you may get more feedbacks.
In any case, if there is no objection to include "ims" in pecl (wait a
couple of days), please request a PECL account on http://pecl.php.net.
You will also need a CVS account if you plan to maintain this
extension in our cvs, fill this form to request one:
http://www.php.net/cvs-php.php
Give the valid credentials in your request, a link to this mail will
help (using news.php.net/php.pecl.dev) as well as to your sf.net page.
