inclued 0.1.2 broken with php 5.3.5

I'm having trouble getting inclued to work with php 5.3.5 (installed
using apt-get on Ubuntu 11.04 "natty").
The "includes" array in the dump file is always empty. Looks like a
manifestation of this issue: http://pecl.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=18654
Is there anyone on this list that has a recent Ubuntu install that will
try using inclued and report back their results?
Anyone know why this might be breaking?
Here's another data point, I *was* able to get inclued 0.1.2 working on
Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) with php 5.3.2.
