XSLT error handling

Hello.
Thanks for exellent libxml2. I wanna write something like:
$proc->importStylesheet($domXsl)
or die($proc->error);
$result = $proc->transformToDoc($domXml)
or die($proc->error);
But it seems to me there is NO such property (or method) to obtain XSLT
errors (I have browsed the PHP5 source). Set_error_handler does not work too
in XSL extension.
The question is: HOW could I debug scripts used PHP5 DOM+XSL extension?.. Is
it really impossible nowadays?..
