Dear developers,Hi hannes
Is anybody thinking about integrating XMLSec (http://www.aleksey.com/xmlsec/) into PHP? Its features would be quite interesting indeed..thinking: yes. interesting: yes. ;)
I don't know how difficult a task this would be, I definitely don't have the know-how to cope with it. :(I never looked into the API of that, if it's similar to libxml2, then it shouldn't be that big of a task. You (or whoever does it) could even take ext/dom as an example and try to find out, how it works.
Perhaps the fact that libXML is already integrated makes it a bit easier? It makes it a lot easier, since (AFAIK) libxml2 will be deployed with php5 and should be installed by default. Meaning, you can count on ext/dom being installed and build something on top of that (like ext/xsl and certainly others in the future). So you (or whoever...) can build on the work of ext/dom and using its interfaces
Any plans, anybody?not me ;) My Wishlist (more a nice-to-have-list) for ext/dom is quite big already ;) chregu
