Hi there! I get this rather strange behavior from domxml_open_mem starting from PHP 4.3.4. When the argument is not a XML compliant string (let's say $str = "<html><p>text<hr></html>"), domxml_open_mem returns a DOM object, all messed up, but an object, although in the documentation it's written that it doesn't. The documented statement: if(!$dom = domxml_open_mem($xmlstr)) { echo "Error while parsing the document\n"; exit; } is not usable anymore. So, I would like to know what changed since PHP 4.3.2 and what are (probably) the new options that I should add when calling domxml_open_mem to catch the error. --- Andrei BEJENARU InterAKT Online http://www.interakt.ro/ Tel: +4021 312.53.12 Tel/Fax: +4021 312.51.91
