Hi,
I've got this realy strange behaviour of Beta2 (for win32) with POSTs. I've
reduced the problem to this: I've got this simple rudimentary file
(postit.html):
<FORM action="dosomething.php" method="POST">
<input type=submit value="submit">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" name="label" value="foo">
</FORM>
Now, this form doesn't do anything intelligent at all, it just prints a submit
button. But that's not the interesting thing.
Calling this file with Beta1 didn't do anything strange at all. dosomething.php
was called an processed. But now, after having upgraded to beta2, I get an
internal server error.
Now to the weired part: I played around a bit and then found out that if the
name of the file (postit.html) was shorter than 5 letters (eg: post.html), the
internal server error disappeared. Whatever the name was, as long as it did not
exceed 4 letters, the error disappeared.
So how/why does this happen? As I mentioned before, with Beta1 everything
worked fine! So I guess it cannot be my configuration, something of php must
have changed that produces this error.
I am using Apache/1.3.6 (Win32)
any hints, anybody?
