building httpd/PHP4 with IMAP

Has anybody succeeded in building PHP4RC2 w/imap support? My configure line was like this: ./configure --with-mysql --with-imap=/usr/local/src/imap-4.7c \ --with-apxs=/bin/apxs --with-gettext --enable-track-vars --enable-bcmath \ --with-ldap --with-mcal=/usr/local/mcal As you can see, my goal was to build php4 as an apache DSO. However, after a successfull make and make install, Apache startup fails with the following msg: Syntax error on line 209 of /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so into server: /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so: undefined symbol: mxdriver /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd could not be started This happened with both PHP4RC2 and fresh PHP4 cvs. Tweaking with ext/imap/php_imap.c #ifdefs (after line 388) didn't help any, although I don't consider myself a c guru... :) regards, Leo -- Leo Jaaskelainen lexa@sci.fi <- preferred leo.jaaskelainen@humak.edu leo.jaaskelainen@kolumbus.fi
