Bug description: PHP crashes on "make install" on memory allocation, PowerPC
Description:

After building PHP 5.1.6 on Mac OS 10.4.8 on PowerPC, "make install" will
crash with the error below.
This happened on two PowerPC systems that previously had no PHP source on
them. Configure command for the build is below. Crash log attached.
Reproduce code:

./configure --prefix=/Library/PHP5 --mandir=/usr/share/man
--infodir=/usr/share/info --sysconfdir=/etc --disable-zend-memory-manager
make
make install
Expected result:
