the function setRangeMarkerFillStyle was set to return a reference
object. This function does not return anything.
OLD: function &setRangeMarkerFillStyle(&$rangeMarkerFillStyle )
NEW: function setRangeMarkerFillStyle(&$rangeMarkerFillStyle)
I removed the & from the function name - and the error was resolved.
Reproduce code:

Just create a graph and call setRangeMarkerFillStyle
