Status: Bogus
Bug Type: Feature/Change Request
PHP Version: 4.4.4
New Comment:
That's true that php4 is for bug fixes only, many (the majority
actually) users still use php4 and may need this feature.
Manuel, I suggest you to post this patch to internals, if someone needs
it, it can be found somehow in the list archive.
As a side note, I would even say that php4 is dead, given the complete
lack of releases even when very few things have been commited in
months, it is not a qualitative comment about the RM's job but a fact.

Description:
------------
I have backported PHP 5.2 upload progress hook support to work under
PHP 4.4.4 . It has been througholy tested along with the uploadprogress
extensioon from PECL. It is working well as needed. If there is interest
to integrate this patch, it is available here:
http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/download/1/file/17424/name/rfc1867.php-4.4.4.patch
