Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system
is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions. Due to the volume
of reports we can not explain in detail here why your report is not
a bug. The support channels will be able to provide an explanation
for you.
Thank you for your interest in PHP.

Description:
------------
PHP 5.2.1 does not work! When I try to launch web server it outputs
many php errors and exits. I can't even view html files. Actually I
have reported a bug concerning this issue which was treated as a
"bogus" :( so I would like you this time to listen to me, as this
really is a bug which needs to be fixed.
I'm currently using (trying to do so) Apache 2.2.4 (isn't it a new
version?) and PHP5.2.1.
Reproduce code:
---------------
<?php
echo "php";
?> //does not work
Expected result:
----------------
I expect to see the string "php"
Actual result:
--------------
Instead I see nothing but a huge amount of php-related errors.
