The static one does not have any problem while the php one does the
chunk problem.

This is not a "number bug". It's called chunked transfer encoding.
Try one with HTTP/1.0, and you'll see.

Here is a way I found to reproduce the bug
http://www.fuitad.com/test.phps
<? phpinfo(); ?> also worked.
It seems that this bug only occurs when the response is over a certain
size. Hence why your tests did not work.

I just realized something interesting...
Those telnet calls I did, none of them comes from a proxy. They are
direct, yet the weird number bug appears still.
