From: cexyga at hotmail dot com Operating system: Windows 2003 PHP version: 5.2.1 PHP Bug Type: MySQL related Bug description: DOESN'T HAVE ALL LIBRARIES PHP 5.2.1 MYSQL -IIS 6 Description: ------------ I tried to install the new version from the win zip 5.2.1 binaries, and download the PECL libraries as well, I followed each step carefully, install the Variable Enviroments (path), check for the extensions, verify the libmysql.dll in windows32, run the isapiphp on the web service extensions, work on the web sites properties, go to home directory and enable .php. Dowload the odbc for mysql 5.0 and php always displayed the same libraries, mysql was not displayed in the phpinfo(). I enabled the extension_dir, I enable the extension= php_mysql.dll and I did everything to get it working and the only thing I've got was call to undefined function mysql_connect, then I tried to go to the regedit trick and give the correct path to the php but that wouldn't work for me either. So finally I noticed that when I executed php.exe from the cmd of DOS I have missing libraries it didnt find the php_mysql.dll or others that were without the quotes ; although they were on their place at extensions folder. So I find out that php5.dll was missing and other libraries as well, I downloaded this and other extensions and then I've got an extension problem saying something that these files didnt belong to that version, so finally, after a week trying I gave up and install php 5.1.4 with mysql wich worked fine for me :( Expected result: ---------------- MYSQL DISPLAYED ON PHPINFO() file Actual result: -------------- no display after a week trying with all possible combinations, I also downloaded the win installer and the pecl, to finally find that there are missing files on the extensions. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=40736&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=40736&r=mysqlcfg
