CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a
documentation
problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/.

In http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.pg-lo-import.php
you describe parameters as path,connection but in
4.2 it is connection,path (it changed in 4.2). It also should be
mentioned in Release Notes for 4.2 because it broke my
site. I have not tested yet pg_lo_export behaviour but
doc for it is also wrong.
