ID: 12748 Updated by: sniper@php.net Reported By: phpman@toowards.com -Status: Open +Status: Closed Bug Type: Reproducible crash Operating System: redhat-7.1b -PHP Version: STABLE-200206181800 +PHP Version: 4.2.x New Comment: It's not fixed in the 4.2.x branch but in the 4.3.0-dev. (the snapshot NOT having word STABLE in them) There was one more fix needed just after I closed this, but now it definately is fixed. Try this snapshot: http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz (it might not yet have the fix though, check that main/streams.c has revision 1.57) Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-06-18 23:13:42] phpman@toowards.com I still get the same crash. Using apache_1.3.26 php4-STABLE-200206181800 Apache configure ./configure --enable-shared=max --enable-module=most PHP configure ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs php.ini same as previously noted. test script same as previously noted. You can grab a snapshot of the CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. I can't reproduce this.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-03-31 21:18:24] phpman@toowards.com I tested today on the 4.2.0 branch and I'm still getting the same problem. Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x402c4b6d in zend_hash_find (ht=0x4039e1e0, arKey=0x811288c "http://www.php.net", nKeyLength=4, pData=0xbfffe1e8) at zend_hash.c:861 861 p = ht->arBuckets[nIndex]; I think Bug #15854 (http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=15854) is related to this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-02-04 16:09:23] edink@php.net This one is still not fixed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-02-04 03:44:45] phpman@toowards.com I haven't got the latest snapshot handy - or a machine to test on just at the moment, but I did a quick test on 4.1.0 and segmentation faults appear in my log, so it looks like the bug still exists. I'll try a proper test when I get a chance. I don't seem to be able to change it the status to Open using this bug reporter however.
