This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the
CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a
documentation

In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites.
Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better.

Real error:
Zend/zend_mm.o: In function `zend_mm_alloc':
/home/mfischer/isrc/cvs/php4ze2/Zend/zend_mm.c:159: undefined reference
to `max'
Zend/zend_mm.o: In function `zend_mm_realloc':
/home/mfischer/isrc/cvs/php4ze2/Zend/zend_mm.c:253: undefined reference
to `max'
Btw, I think posting such problems directly to php-dev@ with a good
subject is better. The main developers don't read the bugs here often
and are mostly the only ones who will fix this.
