Of course I wouldn't expect 5.2.3 to be updated; but if 5.2.4 contains

We can't go back to the future and change already released 5.2.3, but
5.2.4-CVS already contains PCRE 7.2

The latest version of the PCRE library is 7.2 which fixes a bug I
frequently experience problems with. However, PHP 5.2.3 is still shipped
with PCRE library 7.0. Could this please be updated?
