This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the
CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a
documentation
problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/.

Used software: autoconf-2.53, automake-1.6, flex-2.5.4a,gcc-2.95.3,
make-3.79.1.
make fails with the following error message:
# make
