Bug Type: Compile Failure
Operating System: Fedora5
PHP Version: 5.2.4
New Comment:
FYI: I tested with my Fedora5 machine and it works just fine.
Why did you install php-mcrypt? You're compiling from sources, you
don't need that. Are you sure you don't have some old mcrypt version
installed? e.g. from sources under /usr/local ?

the problem is caused by --with-mcrypt without it no problems.
libmcrypt, libmcrypt-devel and php-mcrypt are installed and up to
date.
What is the problem?

And before you run configure with the proper configure line, use CLEAN
sources!

First of all: You're passing wrong paths to configure options.
You're not supposed to pass /lib in any of those options. Remove those
from each one of them.
