#43536 [NEW]: Specifying a nameserver for DNS requests
From: marc at perkel dot com
Operating system: all
PHP version: 5.2.5
PHP Bug Type: Feature/Change Request
Bug description: Specifying a nameserver for DNS requests
Description:
------------
It would be nice if there were a way to direct DNS requests to a specific
nameserver so that one could write code that tests what a specific
nameserver is returning and avoid caching. That way if you are writing a
diagnostic tool to test name server configurations it will work correctly.
Would like to be able to write what DNSstuff does in PHP.
