I have been constructing a site on a webspace with Safe Mode On, and am
able to successfully use move_uploaded_file with a posted file. The
documentation on this function implies that UIDs must match between a
script and the file it reads.
In my case, the script's UID is 605, and the temporary file's is 0 and
yet the function behaves perfectly. Perhaps the documentation should be
revised accordingly?
This is excellent in the sense that I needed some way of retrieving
this data with safe mode on, but (to my limited understanding) seems to
undermine the safe mode principle of UID restriction.
