It's not quite as simple as 'pecl install timezonedb': It executes fine, but it instructs adding extension=timezonedb.so to php.ini. This is not correct, and causes php to complain about not finding the .so extension. The correct addition would be: extension=no-debug-non-zts-20060613/timezonedb.so I did quite extensive searching on the timezone thing before complaining and never found the reference to PECL & Co... Shouldn't this be documented more extensively?
