Could you check if this still happens with PHP 4.2.1?

I have configured our windows 2000 box running PHP 4.2.0 in CGI mode
with register globals ON for backward compatibility. (in case that
makes any difference)
Everything works great, but I need access to functions defined in the
PDF module. So, I uncomment the pdfdll line under the extensions and
then PHP hangs on all pages. I can undo the activity by re-commenting
the pdf line in the PHP ini file.
My extensions directory is properly specified as we use the mssql
module frequently without issue.
Am I missing something obvious (the groups didn't know or didn't see my
postings)
Thank you for your faithful dedication to making PHP the best
development tool available today.
