This crash occured on Win XP and Win Server03 - 32 bit and on Windows
Vista - 64 bit.
It didn't occur on Linux RHEL 32 or 64 bit.

On *nix this does not result in a crash, I wonder if its a Win32
specific issue. Can someone on Win32 confirm the problem?
