Operating system: FreeBSD 4.5-R
PHP version: 4.2.1
PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Stronghold 3 + PHP 4.2.1 incorrectly detects Apache2
Running ./configure on php-4.2.1 with Stronghold 3 (build 3017, based on
Apache 1.3.x) results in error message
"checking for Apache 1.x module support via DSO through APXS... configure:
error: Use --with-apxs2 with Apache 2.x!"
Stronghold 3 is NOT based on Apache 2.x. Just for shits n giggles, I
followed it's instructions (also installing pth), but that failed as well
because of missing header files that are only found in Apache 2.x.
