From: edman007 at edman007 dot com Operating system: Linux PHP version: 5.2.6 PHP Bug Type: SOAP related Bug description: SoapClient() does not use the https cert to fetch the wsdl file Description: ------------ when using the local_cert/passphrase options to soapclient() soapclient will not use the https cert specified with local_cert to connect to the server that contains the wsdl file (it will however use it when making the actual soap request). I understand that this may not always be needed, but their should be no reason that a wsdl file need to be public, so maybe there could be an option to use the local_cert/passphrase when fetching the wsdl (and automatically disable wsdl cache for those urls if need be [not sure if you guys consider that a security issue]) Reproduce code: --------------- $mailer = new SoapClient(EMAIL_ACCESS_URL, array('classmap', $wsdl_classmap, 'local_cert' => EMAIL_HTTPS_CERT,'passphrase' => EMAIL_CERT_PASS)); Expected result: ---------------- not throw an error Actual result: -------------- throws error saying it cannot parse the wsdl...which is very misleading, it mentions about errors fetching the file Note: It can be worked around by fetching it with curl and writing to a temp file and using that to construct the SoapClient() object -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=45308&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=trysnapshot53 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=php4 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=45308&r=mysqlcfg
