Sorry for the confusion. Must have been some network error at my end.
An hour later, the download worked fine.. even from the mirrors.

This is for PHP 4.1.2 and not 4.1.1!
I don't know if this is the right address to contact, but here goes: I
tried to download php 4.1.2 (for security reasons), but the tar seems
incomplete. From several mirrors as well as from the main site, the
unpacking fails (gzip crashes -- cannot decompress). Guess you need to
put a new tar in place?
