From: jukkaho@mail.student.oulu.fi Operating system: Any PHP version: 4.2.1 PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: number_format() should be documented in string functions number_format() should be documented in string functions, not in math functions. It returns string, See also -line says: sprintf(), printf() and sscanf() It has nothing to do with mathematics, it's about formatting. Finally the best reason of all to move the description to string functions: I couldn't find the documentation for it. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=18206&edit=1 -- Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18206&r=globals
