Reproduce code: --------------- <?php $string = 'abcdef'; $encoding = 'unknown-encoding'; var_dump(iconv_strlen($string, $encoding)); ?> Expected result: ---------------- bool(false) PHP Notice: iconv_strlen(): Wrong charset, conversion from unknown-encoding' to UCS-4LE' is not allowed in ...
