Operating system: Gentoo Linux amd64
PHP version: 5.2.10
PHP Bug Type: Output Control
Bug description: fprintf(STDOUT, ...) and printf(...) behave differently and affect STDERR
Description:
------------
These functions behave differently if the underlying I/O operation on
STDOUT fails. The difference is that STDERR is affected in one case.
