But that bug was with mysql 3.23.39 and php 2.2.1 and 2.0.6 Tested on Redhat 6.2 2.2.15 and AspLinux 7.2 4.4.19 Looks like that bug was for 3.23.39 libmysql. After upgrading mysql to 3.23.51 everything is ok! So,please, check it. If have less than 64 kb of data in field - everything is Ok. If have more than 64 kb of data in field, function returns an array with values ,contains parts of data of that long field. Looks like overflow. Array values overwrites with overflow part.
