ID: 12962 Updated by: kalowsky@php.net Reported By: alon@anayadesign.com -Status: Analyzed +Status: Won't fix Bug Type: ODBC related Operating System: win2000 PHP Version: 4.0.6 Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-06-24 22:47:53] kalowsky@php.net There is really no way to extend this that I can see at this time. The SQLColAttributes (which populates the field) requires the length to be passed to it. This may require a lot more hacking around to implement a longer version. In the meantime I believe a simple hack of just making the odbc_result_value.name[32] to be a obdc_result_value.name[64] or some higher number. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-08-25 23:00:32] alon@anayadesign.com if I have a field name longer than 31 characters, the odbc_field_name function cuts it to 31 characters. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=12962&edit=1
