From: ivk@jensentechnologies.com Operating system: Windows 2000 PHP version: 4.2.2 PHP Bug Type: PCRE related Bug description: preg_ function and slashes $_ = 'test\\string'; $_ = preg_replace('/\\/i', 'A', $_); echo $_; doesn't replace (in php 4.2.0 it works!) and $_ = 'test\\string'; $_ = preg_replace('/\\\/i', 'A', $_); echo $_; works.
