a ">" in
a variable printed
Test script:

$simb="this is broken<NOT";
echo " $simb>";//works with > following
print($simb.">");
echo " $simb";//FAILS
print($simb." ");
?>
Expected result:
----------------
this is broken<NOT>this is broken<NOT> this is broken<NOTthis is

Actual result:
