From: a.graeber@ids-scheer.de Operating system: Linux 2.4.18 PHP version: 4.2.2 PHP Bug Type: Reproducible crash Bug description: modules php + frontpage crash apache I use php 4.2.2 as a dynamic module to apache 1.3.26 php: ./configure --enable-sockets --with-pdflib --with-ncurses --enable-claendar --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --with-ldap --enable-ftp --with-openssl=/usr/local/ssl --enable-debug apache: ./configure \ --with-layout=Apache --enable-module=so --enable-module=ssl --enable-shared=ssl --add-module=mod_frontpage.c --enable-shared=frontpage I get a segmentation fault as soon as the server loads both the frontpage- and the php-module and tries to serve a page (htm, html, php). It will serve other file types like .gif, .ppt and so on. The server runs ok if I load any other combination of modules, it only crashes for frontpage + php. mod_frontpage is the appropriate version for the 1.3.26 server log: [Tue Jul 30 16:53:18 2002] [notice] Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) PHP/4.2.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2623 mod_ssl/2.8.10 OpenSSL/0.9.6d mod_auth_pam/1.0a configured -- resuming normal operations [Tue Jul 30 16:53:18 2002] [notice] Accept mutex: sysvsem (Default: sysvsem) [Tue Jul 30 17:09:52 2002] [notice] child pid 17393 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) Backtrace: (gdb) bt #0 0x4020936d in php_xbithack_handler (r=0x81352bc) at mod_php4.c:777 #1 0x0806c628 in ap_invoke_handler () #2 0x080820c4 in ap_some_auth_required () #3 0x08082510 in ap_internal_redirect () #4 0x08061060 in ap_get_server_built () #5 0x0806c628 in ap_invoke_handler () #6 0x080820c4 in ap_some_auth_required () #7 0x08082121 in ap_process_request () #8 0x08078c0a in ap_child_terminate () #9 0x08078dd9 in ap_child_terminate () #10 0x08078f63 in ap_child_terminate () #11 0x080795d9 in ap_child_terminate () #12 0x08079ea9 in main () #13 0x4008ba82 in __libc_start_main () from /lib/libc.so.6 (gdb) Thaks a lot for your help -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=18674&edit=1 -- Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=18674&r=globals
