Bug description: Web Site - /do_download.php is not PHP-4.2.2 Ready
Hi!
I help run you're Australian Mirror (PlanetMirror.com), and have recently
upgraded one of our "testing" web servers to PHP 4.2.2. However, upon
trying to download php-4.2.2.tar.bz2 (or any other file), I get "Invalid
file requested for download!" on the 4.2.x box, even though I can download
them from the live servers (running 4.1.2).
Upon investigation, it seems the do_download.php script (and, possibly, a
number of other pages in the web site) rely on variables from GET/POST
requests, that are assumed to be available globally. From 4.2.x, these are
supposed to be accessed using $_GET, etc. I think this should be fixed, or
a note sent out that all mirror's should put a "php_value register_globals
'on'" line in the Apache configuration for the PHP mirror?
Your help with this will be appreciated.
Regards,
Dan Goodes
