Floating point values have a limited precision. Hence a value might
not have the same string representation after any processing. That also
includes writing a floating point value in your script and directly
printing it without any mathematical operations.

Case 1:
$a = (int)((0.1+0.7) * 10); echo $a; // Result: 7 (Wrong) should give 8
Case 2:
$a = (int)((0.1+0.6) * 10); echo $a; // Result: 7
Case 3:
$a = (int)((0.1+0.8) * 10); echo $a; // Result: 9
Test script:
