using preg_match(), and possibly others that i haven't tested, to
search for \ or / requires you to double-escape the
characters.
"/[\\\\\/]/" - works fine and mathches either \ or /.
"/[\\\/]/" - doesn't work, gives the error "Warning: Unknown modifier
']'"
