<?php
$fp = fsockopen ("www.example.com", 80, $errno, $errstr, 30);
if (!$fp) {
   echo "$errstr ($errno)<br>\n";
} else {
   fputs ($fp,
"GET / HTTP/1.0\r\nHost: www.example.com\r\n\r\n");
   while (!feof($fp)) {
       echo fgets ($fp,128);
   }
   fclose ($fp);
}
?>
This will work but if fputs( ) is this
   fputs ($fp, "GET / HTTP/1.0\r\nHost: www.example.com");
ie no "\r\n\r\n", then fgets( ) will block and the code will timeout.
On the server side, the "GET / ..." is read, but will block on the
send( ).
