Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at
http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to

The class isn't implemented yet. A shell of the class exists in the code base so
you're able to create an instance but nothing is implemented... so a null is
returned when you access $domdocument->config. Sorry. :)

$document->domConfig; (readonly)
should return a DOMConfiguration class
the class DOMConfiguration is actually available (and instantiable) but it is not linked to
DOMDocument
try this:
echo new \ReflectionClass(\new DOMConfiguration));
