From: ronen@greyzone.com Operating system: RedHat Linux 7.3 PHP version: 4.2.2 PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: Compiling PHP 4.2.2 --with-oci8 (Oracle 9i) fails Hi, I'm trying to compile PHP 4.2.2 on RedHat Linux 7.3 with Oracle9i client libraries (Admin install). My configuration parameters are as follow: ./configure --with-oci8 --with-apache=../apache_1.3.26 Configuration does not raise any errors. Before I ran 'make' I checked that ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_OWNER are set correctly. This is the error message I get: gcc -I. -I/u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2/main -I/u1/TARBALLS/php- 4.2.2/main -I/u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2 -I/u1/TARBALLS/ apache_1.3.26/src/include -I/u1/TARBALLS/apache_1.3.26/src/ os/unix -I/u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2/Zend -I/u1/TARBALLS/php- 4.2.2/ext/mysql/libmysql -I/u2/oracle/OraHome1/rdbms/demo - I/u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2/ext/xml/expat -I/u1/TARBALLS/php- 4.2.2/TSRM -g -O2 -c internal_functions.c && touch internal_functions.lo In file included from internal_functions.c:34: /u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2/ext/oci8/php_oci8.h:52:17: oci.h: No such file or directory make[2]: *** [internal_functions.lo] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2/main' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/u1/TARBALLS/php-4.2.2/main' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 I rebuilt my slocate database then looked for the file oci.h - it doesn't exist anywhere.
