ID: 18870 User updated by: emrecio@netscape.net Reported By: emrecio@netscape.net Status: Closed Bug Type: Compile Failure Operating System: OS X 10.1.15 PHP Version: 4.2.2 New Comment: How do we fix the security issues with 4.0, and 4.1 then? Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-08-12 20:19:21] kalowsky@php.net This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/. In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites. Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better. Please note that PHP 4.2.2 does NOT support OSX. The next 4.x release will though. So test out a snapshot :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-08-12 19:59:36] emrecio@netscape.net Everything compiles okay, but failes when a link is attempted with pages, and pages of errors. The command line is './configure --with-xml --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-mysql' (tried without --with-mysql, and without =/usr/sbin/apxs even ./configure alone, and still got the following error at link time...) /bin/sh /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/libtool --silent --mode=link cc -I. -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/main -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2 -I/usr/include/httpd -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/Zend -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/mysql/libmysql -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/xml/expat -traditional-cpp -DDARWIN -DUSE_HSREGEX -DUSE_EXPAT -DHARD_SERVER_LIMIT=2048 -DEAPI -I/Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/TSRM -g -O2 -prefer-pic -o libphp4.la -rpath /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/libs -avoid-version stub.lo Zend/libZend.la sapi/apache/libsapi.la main/libmain.la regex/libregex.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/ctype/libctype.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/mysql/libmysql.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/pcre/libpcre.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/posix/libposix.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/session/libsession.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/standard/libstandard.la /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/ext/xml/libxml.la TSRM/libtsrm.la -lm /Users/brade/Desktop/php-4.2.2/libtool: parse error: condition expected: xno = [3147] ld: multiple definitions of symbol _yytext Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _yytext in section (__DATA,__common) Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_ini_scanner.lo) definition of _yytext in section (__DATA,__common) ld: multiple definitions of symbol _zendparse Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_parser.lo) definition of _zendparse in section (__TEXT,__text) Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_parser.lo) definition of _zendparse in section (__TEXT,__text) ld: multiple definitions of symbol _compile_file Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _compile_file in section (__TEXT,__text) Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _compile_file in section (__TEXT,__text) ld: multiple definitions of symbol _compile_filename Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _compile_filename in section (__TEXT,__text) Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _compile_filename in section (__TEXT,__text) ld: multiple definitions of symbol _compile_string Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _compile_string in section (__TEXT,__text) Zend/.libs/libZend.al(zend_language_scanner.lo) definition of _compile_string in section (__TEXT,__text) ld: multiple definitions of symbol _highlight_file ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=18870&edit=1
