The fix for this bug has been committed.
Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change

Timestamps would be EXTREMELY useful for this function. I second the request for adding this

The entries in the PHP 5.3.0 and up mail.log have no timestamps. Timestamps would be incredibly
useful for multiple reasons including meaningful logwatch reports.
