Please try using this snapshot:
http://snaps.php.net/php5.3-latest.tar.gz
For Windows:

This seems to be fixed in more recent 5.3 versions. I couldn't reproduce the issue. In case you
can reproduce it with a recent version please tell use whether you're using libmysql or mysqlnd
(check "MySQL CLient Library Version" in phpinfo() )

I cannot generate a backtrace since I am not willing to mess up machine, and there
is no possibility to install a virtual machine because I haven't a OS X Server
installation DVD,
So, is it possible to solve this bug without providing a backtrace?

Thank you for this bug report. To properly diagnose the problem, we
need a backtrace to see what is happening behind the scenes. To
find out how to generate a backtrace, please read
http://bugs.php.net/bugs-generating-backtrace.php
for *NIX and
http://bugs.php.net/bugs-generating-backtrace-win32.php

Once you have generated a backtrace, please submit it to this bug
report and change the status back to "Open". Thank you for helping
us make PHP better.
