From: webmaster@hardware-spot.com Operating system: RedHat /version unknown PHP version: 4.2.1 PHP Bug Type: IMAP related Bug description: imap functions don't work when executing script from commandline Scripts with imap-functions work perfectly when called by browser (http://www.mydomain.com/imap.php) - they send and receive mail. However, when the (exact same!) scripts are called from commandline (php /path_to_script/imap.php or with !#/usr/bin/php added as first line) execution simply halts as soon as any imap-function is called like $conn = @imap_open("\{$server/imap}INBOX", $user, $pass); Even "or die(mysql_error());" behind the imap-functions doesn't react. Other scripts with e.g. databasemanipulation work fine from commandline so it has to be imap/commandline-combination. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19181&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=trysnapshot Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=19181&r=globals
