#19183 [NEW]: nl2br in MySQL blob fields

From: jpleite@ip.pt Operating system: Linux PHP version: 4.2.1 PHP Bug Type: Output Control Bug description: nl2br in MySQL blob fields A blob field is filled in a page as a <textarea>. Obviously the text is input formatted, with ENTER to split some lines. This text is to be seen in a "normal" html page, and I want it to be seen exactly as entered. My code for the "seen" page is: $str="<table><tr><td>..."; ... $str.=nl2br($row[blobfield])"; ... echo($str); However the result is that the full text is not seen.
